5 Amazing Locations for Photoshoots Along the Emerald Coast
#1 Seaside Beach
Seaside Beach is a beautiful white sand, vibrant blue water beach located in Seaside Florida along the famous highway 30A. There is almost always perfect weather besides the occasional rainy days. Plus before or after your photoshoot there are tons of places for you to shop, eat, and maybe grab a quick drink to loosen up before your photo session! The best lighting is during golden hour (about 15 minutes before sunset to sundown) Tourists come to Seaside year round for a reason… It’s calm, fun, and beautiful!
#2 Mexico Beach
Mexico Beach is a smaller Beach located in the city of Mexico Beach. This is another clean white sand, vibrant blue water beach. This beach has surprisingly warm water and is located off highway 98. This area will give you a more small town beach feel compared to some surrounding areas like Panama City and Destin. The best lighting is during golden hour (about 15-30 minutes before sunset) and is a great place to get a photoshoot and make a beach day out of it.
#3 State Forrest Turnoffs of HW 98
There are a ton of turnoffs off of Highway 98. Most of them are public access to trails, camp grounds, and state forrest’s. These turn offs are full of tall pine trees and nature. So if you’re wanting more green/nature in your photos this is definitely going to be the location(s) for you. You can ask your photographer which turnoff is closest to you and they’ll let you know!
#4 M.B. Miller County Pier
This pier is located in Panama City Beach, a great place for a vacation or a night out. Pier photos are one of the most classic locations for family photos you can choose. They always turn out light and colorful. If you’re not sure where to do your photos, the pier will never disappoint. Plus when you’re done with the photoshoot there are tons of beachside restaurants for you to choose from so you can grab a bite to eat or drink after your photo session.
#5 Grayton Beach State Park
Grayton Beach State Park is a very popular location. It’s a great option because it has public access to the beach and the tall curvy sand dunes. This is a bonus because you can get 2 different looks in one photoshoot. Another bonus for this location is that it’s not as busy as a public beach because its a state park. Lighting is always best during golden hour so if you book a photoshoot at this location, book it during that time for the best final results!
